Who is this book for?

Boards, CEOs, general counsels, CHROs, chief risk officers, and functional leaders who now own AI-shaped decisions inside their function. Advisors, consultants, and educators working with these leaders will find a shared vocabulary they can carry from engagement to engagement.

Is this a technology book?

No. It is a leadership and organizational-design book. The technology is described only enough to make its organizational effects visible. The book's argument would still hold if the underlying models changed tomorrow.

Do I need a technical background to read it?

No. The book is written for a leader who is comfortable making consequential decisions but is not a machine-learning practitioner. Where a technical concept matters, it is defined the first time it appears.

How is it structured?

Five parts, a prologue, an introduction, an interlude, and an epilogue. Every part arrives through a real decision — a plant, an airline, an executive-search firm — before it becomes a framework. See the full table of contents.

What is a "Human Point of Consequence"?

The named individual who carries the meaning of an AI-influenced outcome and holds the authority to stop the sequence when required. The role sits at the center of Part V and is defined in the Glossary.

What is a "Second Map"?

The working diagram of who actually decides now — model, workflow, translator, trusting party, and Human Point of Consequence — once an AI system has entered a workflow. It is the tool the book proposes leaders use to see what the visible org chart hides.

Are there frameworks I can use with my team?

Yes. The book contains several install-ready structures — Voice Rights, the Judgment Trail, the Challenge Path, the Space-of-Autonomy contract, and the Board AI Oversight Charter — designed to be short, portable, and usable inside real organizations.

How long is the book?

Approximately 208 pages in print. Kindle edition available on Amazon.

Is it available in Spanish?

A Spanish edition is planned. Get in touch if you'd like to be notified when it becomes available.
